(More customer reviews)After spending hours online looking for the perfect baby book to give as a gift to my niece, I decided upon this one.So many baby books on the market are cheap looking and have cartoonish pictures.As a baby book is meant to be a keepsake that lasts forever, quality is essential.It was also important to me that the book have that "impressive" look as was gift.
The memory book came in a sturdy gift box, perfect for future storage of the book.The cover is genuine leather and appears sturdy and well-made.The book is in a binder/loose-leaf format, so unnecessary pages can be removed and the order changed.The individual pages don't have big cartoonish drawings to illustrate the text, but have simple, classic small icon type illustrations.The page edges have silver leafing.
Overall, I was very pleased with this album.If I could do anything to improve it, it would be the addition of a couple vellum envelopes to hold items like a lock of baby's hair.
